Hey ya’ll, and welcome back! This week, we are going to help you develop your very own fandom and become the star you’re destined to be! Ready?! Let’s get this show on the road!
But first!
Last week’s action was to identify your top 3 companies to target the fans you WANT! If you don’t identify a target then you’re shooting at nothing. If you did identify your
companies, come brag about it on our Private LinkedIn Membership Community and we’ll give you a round of cyber applause! (If you’re wondering what cyber applause is, it’s just our team clicking the space bar frantically and repeatedly for a decent period of time.)
If you’re struggling to find your 3 target companies, tell us about it on the Private LinkedIn Membership Community. Remember, we’re here to help you step-by-step through this process. We can help you get that cyber applause!

Do you want your name in lights? Do you want that fandom? Do you want to be the poster child of the perfect employee for your target company? Well, if your wish is truly to be the chosen one, you can’t be waiting in the wings, you have to get out onto Center Stage! Do you think Diana Ross thought, “well, this is fine, I can just be one of the Supremes.” No! She was the Supreme!, And for our younger crowd, same thing but… think Beyonce and
Destiny’s Child.
Of course, we understand that stage fright is a real thing and that it is intimidating to reach out to people you don’t know. But, we promise that your career will advance by extending your reach and introducing yourself to those new connections. Little by little, you’ll grow your fandom. You’ll learn new ideas from these new connections and doors will start to open up for you.

Are you ready for your moment in the spotlight? Your time to shine? Imagine, if you will, you’re Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock. Again if you can’t relate…You’re Billie Eilish at Coachella.
Well, now that you’ve reached out to some of your potential fans/LinkedIn connections, the next step is to meet them face to face! You can meet up with them in person, or if you live far from them, you can do a Skype meeting! Your fans want to see not just your face but also your shining personality!
Making eye contact, observing facial cues and body language, and simply having a human conversation is the inside secret
to building organic personal relationships with your fans.
Even if you’re on a video call, you can learn a lot about who you are speaking with. You may spot a cool painting behind them, a picture of their family, or you may notice their office is cluttered or pristine; all of these observations are telling you bits of information about them. So use these cues to your advantage and establish that connection!
Remember, this is true for your fans too! So don’t be afraid to let them know you’re a shining star and not a robot. To do that, it’s always important to be your authentic self! Remember, you are SPECTACULAR!
