Ready to make 500 new connections on LinkedIn? Who doesn’t want 500 new friends? You need someone to eat at the cafeteria with you, right?
You can start this amazing feat by connecting with your coworkers, your friends, your neighbors, your community, and everyone else. This will help build up your network and get you noticed by recruiters. And just think, you already have some type of connection with these people, so it should be less intimidating to reach out. Don’t worry we’re here to help you get started just follow the steps below!
1Click on the My Network button on the top bar.
2If you don’t have any connections yet, click on the Connections option on the left side.
3Click the Connect button beneath every person on the page to send them a connection request.
This will sometimes refresh automatically, but if it does not, you may have to refresh it manually. The next steps show you how.
4Visit any other section of LinkedIn.
It’s probably easiest to just click one of the other top buttons.
5Go back to the My Network section.
Doing this forces LinkedIn to generate a new list of people for you to reach out to!
6Repeat steps 1-5 to connect with boatloads of people! LinkedIn may eventually tell you that you’ve reached a limit for your connections. If it does that, just come back tomorrow and do it all over again.
