Why You Need to Negotiate

Your current salary will follow you to your next job. With the uncertainty of when our economy gets back on track, your next paycheck really matters. When you negotiate, it shows that you know your value. In fact, a lot of recruiters expect you to negotiate. We know it can seem intimidating at first, but you won’t get it if you don’t ask.

Remember what your parents taught you, “the worst they can do is say no.” Or did they just want you to feel better every time one of them said no?
